We started form the suburbs of Colombo at about 6.00 in the morning. The crew was 5. We reached kandy at about 10.00 a.m. and visited “DALADA MALIGAVA” the temple of tooth.
After that we took Gampola road and I turned my vehicle to “Kothmale Road” to reach the Kothmale dam. It was very nice and scenic road.
We stayed at our SLPA circuit Bungalow and next day we went to Horton Plains to hike Thotupola kanda .That was also a very cold and misty day.
After that we headed towards Haputhale. My Kids wanted to see the Adisham again. Unfortunately it was closed on week days. It is open only during the weekends and poya days.
Then we drove through Boralanda ,Bogahakumbura ,Keppetipola to Nuwara Eliya. Next morning we went “Highland Company”, The New Zealand Farm and the “KANDE ELA forest “
Next Day we came back through kandy road and we wen to Stellenberg plantation (Pussallawa).
It was a very nice place and we saw small waterfalls and tea plantations around of us.
