Client Visit at Udawalawa & Nivithigala

We had a little bit bad habit from a long time, it is that when my friend have a faraway client visit he get join me to that visit. But with the official permission we make that visit for full time, hence we do the visit early morning and use the rest of the time to our Adventure tours. It is mainly waterfall hunting.

As per my experience, Devil’s Staircase road is the most hardest, dangerous and beautiful road in Sri Lanka. I knew about this on 2012 and I was lucky to visit there at the beginning of 2013.

First Ever Camping at “Haritha Kanda”, Bogawanthalawa

An unknown peak near Bopaththalawa was initially introduced to Lakdasun by our loving friend Ashan. After that I thought to go there and we all gathered as a team and travelled to Bogawanthalawa by a hired bus. TAs Ashan said an unknown peak we thought to named it as “Haritha Kanda” as per the meaning of that area.

Wangedigala, Wangedi Kanda and Balathuduwa

We all gathered near to the Pettah railway station at 4.00am and the bus left around 4.15am. We stopped the bus for breakfast after passing the Ratnapura and again we stopped the bus at Pambahinna junction to buy lunch packets.

Piduruthalagala Summit by Motor Bicycles

This trip was happened in January 2013. I wanted to go the highest mountain in Sri Lanka and at that time I knew that is not allowed due to high security reasons. However I directly called Ministry of Defense office and explain them about my requirement.

Final lesson of the Campus Rag, The Hagala

Hagala/ Havagala is a famous mountain situated at Sabaragamuwa province near to the Sabaragamuwa University. This mountain is the final lesson of their Rag but this is some kind of a good experience to them to have an adventure in this beautiful area.

Off season by Mukkuwatte route

We as the Travel in Sri Lanka-Sobasiri team in facebbok has organized an event in July about off season hike to Adam’s Peak. We just published the details by inviting people to join with our journey, and then there were 72 people have confirmed their participation for the journey.

Instant Journey from Mandaram Nuwara to Nuwaraeliya

While our journey from Kandy to Nuwaraeliya via Ragala road, we turned right to the Mandaramnuwara road as a villager said that this route might be easy for us since we are at heavy rain in the evening.

I planned this type of trip after seeing Thinuwan’s Night hike, he did it on 2012. So I decided to have this experience.
We left from Kottawa at 8.30pm by our motor bikes a came to the Kalupahana junction at 12.15pm. After that we went to the Bambarakanda fall and parked our bikes over there and started our NIGHT HIKE at 12.30pm.

Hot air ballooning is not very much familiar in Sri Lanka as it costs high. But this activity is very popular among tourists. Because there are many foreigners directly come to have this facility since it is low cost as per their budget.
