  • Off-season on Erathna route after the Covid-19

After the Covid-19 pandemic situation, we had our first journey to Sripada on Erathna route specially to check about the status of the name boards and dust bins which we were placed in December 2019 during our Cleaning project. We informed to PHI Kuruwita and had this hike without informing anyone as the offseason hike is not yet started at that time.

Actually we wanted to see the status of the name boards and the condition of the Ambalam and dust bins. Due to the heavy wind and rainy season, most of the roofs were misplaced and some are broken. But our name boards are there without any harm and all the dust bins were placed at PHI office at Erathna route. This journey is to investigate the present situation of Erathna route and the Ambalam as we need to plan our next project at the end of this season.
